Orchid Pictures is built on a collective love of story and of the dramatic impact it can have for an audience. Whether granting opportunities to better understand ourselves and those around us, or simply transporting us to another place for a time, stories have a transformative power that we seek to celebrate.

We hope to reflect this in a slate of true diversity, breadth and depth. We work carefully to cultivate a safe and supportive creative environment and believe that this encourages leading talent to entrust us with their stories.

The Orchid team comes with a reputation for prestige drama but it will also champion and produce work that is contemporary, gritty, funny and life-affirming – and that offers a compelling reflection of the world around us.
